ANG DAHILAN NG DIOS SA PAGBIBIGAY NG BUHAY.

Kung malalaman lang natin kung gaano kahalaga ang buhay na ibinigay ng Dios at ang tunay na kadahilanan ng ating pag-iral ay maaring ito’y hindi na magagamit sa kamalian, siguradong lahat ay gagamitin ito paggawa ng matuwid.

Sa Mateo 10: 29 – 30, sinabi ng Panginoong HesuKcristo,

Hindi baga ipinagbibili ng isang beles ang dalawang maya? at kahit isa sa kanila'y hindi mahuhulog sa lupa kung hindi pahintulot ng inyong Ama:Datapuwa't maging ang mga buhok ng inyong ulo ay pawang bilang na lahat.

Noong sinabi ng Panginoong Hesus na nalalaman ng Ama ang bilang ng buhok sa ating ulo, ipinakikita lamang Niya sa atin ang halaga natin sa Ama at ang Kaniyang pag-big sa atin, na kahit ang kaliit-liitang bahagi ng ating pagkatao tulad ng buhok, ay pinahahalagahan at iniingatan.

May panahon na si Apostol Pablo ay pumunta sa Roma, ngunit habang naglalayag, ang kanilang sinasakyan ay sumalunga sa unos. Lahat ng pasahero ay nagsimulang matakot at maguluhan dahil sa malakas na paggalaw ng tubig sa dagat. Datapuwa’t, sa gitna ng takot at kawalang pag-asa, isinugo ng Dios ang angel kay Pablo upang ibsan ang kanyang takot at bigyan siya ng kasiguruhan na mararating nila ang kanilang patutunguhan.

Gawa 27:23-24

Sapagka't nang gabing ito ay tumayo sa tabi ko ang anghel ng Dios na may-ari sa akin, at siya ko namang pinaglilingkuran,

Na nagsabi, Huwag kang matakot, Pablo; kailangang ikaw ay humarap kay Cesar: at narito, ipinagkaloob sa iyo ng Dios ang lahat ng kasama mo sa paglalayag.

Ang Dios, sapamamagitan ng Kanyang angel, sinigurado sa kanya na walang mawawalng buhay sa kanila, kahit ang banka’y masira. Ibig sabihin, kahit lumubog man ang kanilang sasakyan, walang mawawalang buhay at sila makararating lahat sa Roma.

Gawa 27:34

Kaya nga ipinamamanhik ko sa inyo na kayo'y magsikain: sapagka't ito'y sa ikaliligtas ninyo: sapagka't hindi mawawala kahit isang buhok sa ulo ng sinoman sa inyo.

Siniguro ng angel kay Pablo na kahit isang hibla ng buhok sa kanilang ulo ay hindi mahuhulog dahil pinagsasangalang sila ng Dios.

Sa Dios, ang buhay ng isang tao ay napakahalaga. Para ilarawan itong mabuti, iInihalitulan ni Kristo  sa maya, kahit na ang mga ito ay ibinebenta murang halaga, na walang mahuhulog sa mga ito sa lupa o mamatay, kung hindi ipahintulot ng Ama.

Kung ang mga maya ay binigyan ng kasiguruhan na kung hindi niloob ng Ama,samakatwid bagay, mas nakasisiguro tayo, mga tao, ay hindi mamatay kung hindi Niya ipahintulot – dahil mas mahalaga tayo sa maya.

Sa kabilang banda, ang kahulugan nito na kapag tayo’y namatay, ito’y kalooban ng Ama.

Ang ating buhay ay nagmula sa Dios; ang ating pag-iral ay nakasalalay sa Kanya. Ang ating kailangang maintindihan ay ang tamang paraan ng ating pamumuhay. Binigyan tayo ng Ama ng buhay upang gamitin sa paglilingkod sa Kanya. Ibig Niyang sumunod tayo sa Kanyang mga utos at tuparin ang kanyang kalooban. Kung Biblia ang pag-uusapan, ito ang ating buong katungkulan at layunin ng pag-iral.

Eclesiastes 12:13

Ito ang wakas ng bagay; lahat ay narinig: ikaw ay matakot sa Dios, at sundin mo ang kaniyang mga utos; sapagka't ito ang buong katungkulan ng tao.

Tayo’y nabubuhay upang maglingkod sa Dios at tumupad ng kanyang mga utos. Tayo ay nilalang para sa mabubuting gawa.

Efeso 2:10

Sapagka't tayo'y kaniyang gawa, na nilalang kay Kristo Hesus para sa mabubuting gawa, na mga inihanda ng Dios nang una upang siya nating lakaran.

Para sa Dios, ang buhay ng tao ay napakahalaga; ito ang dahilan kaya iniutos Niya na huwag kang papatay, at ang sinoman na kumitil ng buhay ay mananagot. Iniutos Niya na tayo ay umibig kahit na sa ating kaaway.

Ito ang nagpapatunay na ang aral na ito ay nagpapakita kung gaano pinahahalagahan ng Dios ang buhay ng tao. Kaya nga, nararapat lamang na gugulin natin ang ating buhay ng matuwid. At ito ay sa pamamagitan ng paglilingkod at pagsunod sa Kanyang mga utos.

The man was on his 55th year of earthly existence. He lived a wonderful life. He finished law in a prestigious university. He earned a very huge amount of money from his client because he was a brilliant lawyer. Despite his success in life, he was drunk every night for the last ten years and he smoked half of his life. He was a mainstay of a bar next to their office. During weekends, morning caught him still inside bars.

The man thought it was a punishment or test from God. He even question why God had given him this deadly disease. He punched his breast asking why this things were happening to him. He forgot he’s a drunkard and a chronic smoker.

What are the reasons people suffer from grief? Is this God given? Who’s doing all the cruelty, happening to men?

There are 3 reasons why grief, suffering, problem, cruelty and depression are happening to all of us.

SELF-MADE OR NATURAL SUFFERING

When you happen to abuse yourself during your younger years, if not early death, most like you’ll end up getting chronic disease. Punished yourself by having vices and often no rest and sleep, what would you expect from your body? It will deteriorate fast. The natural aging process will be hastened by toxins continously sent to the body. Diseases and ailments will surely follow.

• No wonder the man in the story above developed the cancer of the lungs because of his lifestyle. It was not God who inflicted the disease to him. What happened was his own doing. He spent his life doing the things of the flesh. He never realized that all the earthly things he had done, made him suffer.
• An obese women crying of an aching knee, asks why she walks in pain. She never realized her weight was the cause of the pain in her knee.
• A man crying because his girlfriend left him. It was his being womanizer that push away his girlfriend from him.
• Improper waste and garbage disposal lead to flooding and may take away lives. This was a natural phenomenon man experienced because of carelessness and self-centeredness. The garbage you throw will come back to you.

This is a manifestation that human is capable of making his own suffering. His problems were self-made. It will be unrighteous to accuse God of doing these sufferings to us while infact we are the maker of all of these.

SUFFERING TO TEST PEOPLE

A righteous man who suffers difficulties in life is not being punished but being tested. He needs to endure all the pain, sufferings and grievances of this life to make himself ready for the world to come. He who suffers the most would have a better chance of making it to the final judgement. Blessed are those who suffer in righteousness for they will be comforted.

He who endureth sufferings will be saved in the judgement day!

SUFFERING TO PUNISH PEOPLE

A righteous man may experience a temporary difficulties in life because of his sins but when he repent from his sins, went back to his righteous ways and obey God, he’ll be forgiven and his life will starts to become happier and at peace. God is merciful, he wants us to go back to our righteous ways and do repentance from our sins. His loving kindness is always there. He may make you suffer a bit but surely he wants you to be saved.

However, an unrighteous man, who are not willing to end his evil deeds, will taste the punishment of God, here and in the world to come. The punishment of the unrighteous will never cease. An unrighteous man suffers because of his own evil deeds. In the judgement day, he who have done evil will face his punishment that will never last.

God gives us hardships, not to punish us, but to send us message that we should repent from our sins and go back to the path of righteousness. He wants us to obey His commandments and serve him, through that we’ll be saved.

There are many times, our sufferings are bring about by people who are happy to see us suffer. They are those people who enjoy inflicting physical harm to us. There are people who attact us because of our religion and beliefs. They make us suffer physically, mentally and emotionally.

We need to endure this sufferings inflicted to us by others. It will be a benefit to us because it makes us stronger in faith. Our endurance to these sufferings helps us to be closer to God. Let yourself suffer more, for every suffering that we take, we share the sufferings of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.

Let’s pray for those people who grieve us and let’s do good deeds to them. Our goodness and kindness may make them change for the better and may help them realize that God is with us. God wants every man to change their evil ways and go back to His fold. He extends His mercy to the sinners. When people make us suffer, don’t think of revenge. God will do His revenge for us. God wants these people to return to Him. He wants these people to be saved also that’s why He prolong their existence and never punish them immediately. He gives them time to realize that the salvation of their soul is important to God.

“God allow us to suffer because it make us stronger in faith and to help others change and follow Him!”

For people who never cease in doing evil deeds, they will face the wrath of the Lord come judgement day. They will be thrown in the see of fire. They will suffer eternally.

Man suffers depressions and grief due to lack of faith in God. They feel hopeless and down. Failure and mistakes sometimes are unbearable for us but we should always trust God in every situation. Remember that we will not be given burdens that we can’t carry. The cause of anxiety and deppressions are failure to forgive other people. The ache and pain of mistakes of others seems unforgiving to some. They carry it in their hearts for a long time.

Let go of everything that burden you. Put your trust to God that He will not forsake nor leave you. Learn to fogive and forget the mistakes of other people. If you forgive a person who commit mistake to you, God will also forgive your sins. Seek God and you’ll find happiness and peace.

If you are complete physically and mentally, meaning you are not poor. You have the physical blessings given to you by our Creator. A person only have to use his capabilities and develop skills to equip him to do the necessary things to live a decent life.

However, there are pople even with a decent job and live a normal life still think they are poor. They still ask, why they don’t enjoy luxury the rich people experience. They envy those who have plenty of material possession.

Human contentment is a struggle that commonly a person has to face to learn the true value of life. The material satisfaction is the focus of the human mind. The things and wealth of this world is very tempting, for every man, in satisfying the need of the flesh. Least of us know that there are better purpose man should accomplish.

Man is the most important creation in the universe. We possess all the tools to accomplish many things. Yet most of the time, we think, we live in scarcity. There are many blessings showered to us everyday that we fail to notice. Being healthy alone is a blessing that we can’t ecxchange for money. Living happily with our family is a wealth not all the people enjoy. We need to be thankful if we have three full meal a day eating with our love ones. We don’t need to dine to the most luxurious restaurant to be happy.

I remember a story told to us by my beloved brother in Christ. He said, a wealthy woman who was an owner of the biggest shoe manufacturing company in Marikina can’t enjoy her own made shoes because she lost her legs due to diabetes. He said, I’d rather be an ordinary man with two feet, even without any shoe to wear on, because when I use my body to work later on I can buy a pair of shoes.

Resurgence of Cleaveland Cavaliers

With the departure of one of Cleaveland’s star player Kyrie Irving the team’s start wasn’t turn good. They surely showed they missed Kyrie with his big contribution in points, assists and his genius of making plays.

Cleaveland acquired Isaiah Tomas to fill the hole left by Kyrie with the hope of making things better in their 2017-2018 season. However, they end up trading Tomas and acquiring young players to complete their line-up.

During the regular season, this team was not a contender they used to be. They slide from number 2 spot to 4th in the end of Eastern Conference regular season. They end up with a record of 50-32, 9 wins below the Estern Conference leader Toronto Raptor (59-23). Kyrie Erving’s new team Boston Celtics end the regular season a spot below Toronto with a record of 55-27.

In the post season, the 1st round for Cleaveland was the 5th seed in the East, Indiana Pacers. It took 7 games before they were able to pass the very tough Indiana Pacers. Lebron James had to double his effort to bring his team pass the Pacers. This 1st round best-of-7 game made the team started to work better as a team getting ready for a tough fight against the conference leader Toronto Raptor which dispose the resilient Walshington Wizards.

The conference semifinals was set for 1st seed and 4th seed in the east. Raptors carrying a very high spirit after beating the Wizards plus enjoying homecourt advantage over the Cavs. The first game was held in Toronto hoping the homecourt would bring them their expected result to win, but the Cavaliers showed heart to take away the win.

The Cavs coach Tyle Lou knew the Raptors would make all the necessary adjustment come game 2 and they were ready but they further demoralized the home team by beating them with bigger winning margin. As the homecourt advantage were shifted from Raptors to the Cavs, the 2 game advantage was a morale booster going back to their homecourt.

The souring Cavs was determined not to give the Raptors a chance of coming back by establishing 15 points lead in the 3rd period of their 3rd game at Cleaveland. However, the Raptors not giving up on their finals bid, started to come back in the fourth quarter as they tied the game at 103 with only 8 seconds left in the ball game. Lebron James made difficult play looked easy as he buried a running jumper using the board to give the Cavs a 3 game lead. Another buzzer winning shot for this geration’s greatest basketball player.

The Cavaliers were really a team with a mission going in the fourth game of their conference semifinals as they enjoy a commanding lead at 3-0. They may not be looking for a sweep of the Raptors but as the game started the Cavs looked like the hungrier team. As the game progress the Cavs slowly putting the Raptor’s dream away as they the 2nd quarter with double digit lead. The 3rd quarter was a mess for the raptors as Cavs further increase their lead going into the final canto. The game ended with a blow-out as the Cavs win 128 - 93. Again the Cavs is now walking towards the Estern Conference Finals against the winner of Celtics and Sixer, while Boston needs another game to dispose the tough Philadelpia win 3-1 lead.

The highly anticipated Eastern Conference Finals between the Celtics and the Cavalier will now be near to reality. The showdown between Lebron James and Kyrie Irving. A match up that makes salivate for excitement. Let’s witness who will be the next Eastern Conference Champion that will be entering the 2018 NBA Finals.
